​The Data Science and Analytics module equips students with a proficiency in various software packages, such as SmartPLUS, WarpPLUS, SPSS, EViews, MPlus and Minitab as well as programming languages such as Python, R and MATLAB. The purpose is to enhance their marketability as it prepares them for careers requiring data science and structural modelling skills. A proficiency in these software tools enhances students’ readiness for future careers in data science, marketing analytics, fintech, mathematical economics, research and other related fields, as students gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software.
